This week’s episode, we sit down with Jeff Simmermon. Jeff started off as an online content manager for major companies, and has since moved on to build quite the artistic career. He’s a storyteller, standup comedian, and the producer behind “And I am Not Lying,” a monthly variety show at UCB East (in NYC) that combines standup, storytelling, burlesque, sideshows, and music on the second Friday of every month. He also just recorded his first comedy album with Comedy Dynamics, which will be released in the middle of April. He’s won multiple Moth storyslams, including the Grandslam in March 2014. His stories have appeared on This American Life, The Moth’s Podcast, and in written form in the Paris Review Daily. He also teaches semi-private lessons (in case you want to get your story out there).

About the Whormones Podcast
The Whormones podcast is an anti-feminist, feminist podcast where two completely different points of view of sexuality, feminism, and life are discussed. The politically incorrect humor and witty banter featuring Alia Janine’s wilder and more sexually experienced interpretations, and Jaqi Furback’s biting and more conservative demeanor makes these two the modern day odd couple.
